Cover art that gives your paper a striking, accurate image on the front of the issue. Created in close collaboration with you: our science lead is a biologist, so the art is checked against the science at every step. See examples in our work.
For your defence
PhD thesis covers
A striking cover for your printed thesis: an original watercolour that translates your research into an image you will keep long after the defence. Contact us before you go to print. We design and deliver in 2 to 4 weeks (contact us for accurate timelines).
What we need from you
- The title of your thesis.
- At least one main paper from your work, so we understand the science.
- Your own ideas and suggestions. We are happy to accommodate personal requests.
3,000-5,000 kr depending on the complexity of the cover, the idea and the time involved.

For a defence, a graduation, a milestone
Thesis gift paintings
A framed original painting based on someone's research field: the gift for a friend, colleague or family member who has just defended their PhD, finished a degree or reached a milestone. Tell us about their work and we create a piece that speaks to it, framed and ready to give. Our scientific artworks, such as Heart Bloom and Immunity Blossom, show the style. Ask us to make one for their field.
Every artwork we make, custom or from the shop, is available as the original, as a print or as a digital version. Ask us about the format that suits you.
